Commemorative Plaque
In June 1995, a plaque was unveiled in honour of the founders of the Konstanty Reynert Chair of Polish Studies at the University of Toronto; the chair has since been renamed to the Konstanty Reynert Chair of Polish History. The establishment of the Chair was the culmination of a great and successful campaign of fundraising throughout the Polish Community in Canada. Especially noteworthy was the very generous and critical donation of one person – Konstanty Reynert after whom the Chair was named. All of Polonia can be proud of this achievement.
